Content creator Lydia Wanjiru says working on her body is her greatest achievement this year, following recent cosmetic procedures that she says have changed her look and mindset.

On Wednesday, December 26, 2025, she spoke about the transformation while addressing the public this week, making it known that the decision was personal and meaningful to her.

Lydia said the work she has done on her body stands out as her top accomplishment for the year.

“Working on my body was the greatest accomplishment this year,” she said, stressing that she feels renewed after the changes. She added that the process marked a fresh chapter in her life.

This comes after Lydia joked about starting afresh following her Brazilian butt lift and liposuction procedures. While speaking on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, she addressed the changes directly and used humour to explain her new outlook.

“I want to make something clear, saa hii body count yangu ni zero. Mimi nina mwili mpya,” Lydia said.

She went on to describe the physical results of the procedures and how they have affected how she sees herself. Lydia noted that her tummy is now flat and her back smooth, saying the change is visible and real. She said the transformation has given her confidence and a sense of achievement.

The healing process

Lydia Wanjiru has also talked about her walking style after the BBL procedure, explaining that her body is still in recovery. Speaking on December 15, 2025, she said people should understand that healing takes time and patience. She explained that what is being seen now is part of the process.

“I can’t stand straight, and my body is sore and swollen,” Lydia said while discussing the changes. She added that the discomfort is temporary and expected at this stage of healing. According to her, the body needs time to settle after such procedures.

She urged people to relax as she continues to recover.

“Tulieni, I’m still cooking,” Lydia said, noting that her body has not fully healed yet. She stressed that the current state is not permanent.

Lydia maintained that despite the soreness and swelling, she does not regret the decision. She said the journey has been worth it and stands by her statement that working on her body is her biggest win this year.
