Lydia Wanjiru addresses talk about her walk following BBL procedure

Content creator Lydia Wanjiru has addressed the topic of her walking style following a Brazilian butt lift procedure, explaining that her body is still healing.
On Monday, December 15, 2025, she said the changes people are noticing are part of recovery and not permanent.
“I can’t stand straight, and my body is sore and swollen,” Lydia said, adding, “Tulieni, I’m still cooking.”

She made it clear that the discomfort she is experiencing is expected after the procedure. According to Lydia, her body is still adjusting, and the swelling has affected her mobility. She explained that she is not yet fully recovered and asked for patience as she continues healing.
“I can’t stand straight,” she repeated, pointing to soreness and swelling as the reason behind her walk.
Lydia has been open about her recovery journey since undergoing the cosmetic procedure. She has shared updates showing different stages of healing and how her body is responding. She noted that she is still in the process and not yet at the final result, saying again, “I’m still cooking.”
Her recovery journey
The discussion about her walk arose after Lydia shared photos of herself at the beach. During the trip, she praised her doctors and spoke about the confidence they have given her.
She said she now feels comfortable wearing a two-piece, something she linked directly to the outcome of her surgery. Her posts from the coast have shown her enjoying the holiday while continuing to heal.

Since the procedure, Lydia has consistently shared parts of her recovery and what the process has been like. She has documented how her body feels and the changes she is experiencing, including soreness and swelling. She maintained that these effects are temporary and part of the normal process after surgery.
In November 2025, Lydia openly listed the procedures she had done.
She said, “What I had done: liposuction 360, tummy tuck, Brazilian butt lift (bbl). I did it.”
She also expressed gratitude to her surgeon and excitement about the results. “Thanks to my surgeon for giving me an a** and flat tummy,” Lydia said at the time.
