List of celebs who joined Eric Omondi in his walk from Nairobi to Mombasa
Several celebrities have joined comedian Eric Omondi in his journey from Nairobi to Mombasa on foot.
The comedian kicked off the 486-kilometre journey at Nyayo National Stadium on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
Scores of Kenyans turned up to support the comedian and accompanied him in part of the journey, with the team making their way from Nyayo Stadium, walking along Mombasa Road towards the final destination.
Daddy Owen flags walk with a word of prayer
The gospel singer flagged off the walk after praying for the comedian, revealing his support for the noble cause.
He also urged others to support the philanthropist and wished him well.

“Eric Omondi invited me to pray and flag off his 486km walk from Nairobi to Mombasa, and I was honoured to stand with him this morning in support of his noble cause, fundraising for the Sisi kwa Sisi Centre. All the best, my brother. Let’s support him by contributing,” Daddy Owen wrote on X.
Jeff and Patrick Igunza join the walk
Celebrated media personality Jeff Koinange also turned up to support Omondi, hailing the comedian for boldly leading from the front
“Keep supporting this man, it is all for a good course and Eric Omondi is leading from the front. That’s good leadership, leading from the front. Keep walking, my brother,” Jeff declared.
Churchill, Amber Ray & Carol Radull hit the road
Omondi’s colleagues in the comedy industry were not left behind, with renowned comedian Churchill joining the comedian in the walk along the way before dropping off.
Amber Ray joined the group as they headed towards Mlolongo, exiting the city and entering Machakos while enduring the hot sun for a worthy cause.
A video shared by the comedian also shows renowned sports journalist Carol Radull accompanying him in a section of the journey and declaring her support for the initiative.

The lineup of stars that have joined the philanthropist also includes award-winning rapper Khaligraph Jones, who covered a section of the distance with the comedian.
Why Eric Omondi is walking
Dubbed the walk of love, Omondi announced his plans to take the daring journey on foot to raise funds for the construction of a help and rescue centre.
The facility will host a warehouse, two ambulances, a clinic and a free school upon completion, and will be a cornerstone of the comedian’s legacy of philanthropy that has impacted many lives over the years.
“I am walking to raise Funds to build the SISI KWA SISI HELP AND RESCUE CENTRE. The Rescue Centre will house. 1. A WAREHOUSE 2. TWO AMBULANCES 3. A CLINIC 4. A FREE SECONDARY SCHOOL,” Omondi said when he announced the initiative.
