Content creator and sleep trainer Kitt Kiarie has shared that her sister Christine is celebrating the end of her marriage with a divorce party.

On Saturday, March 28, 2026, she posted a message inviting people to the event through a poster. The poster clearly read that people were invited to Christine’s divorce party. The update was shared on her Instagram page alongside videos.

The videos showed Kitt Kiarie and her sister spending time together. They were seen dancing, laughing and having fun while dressed in black outfits.

She explained that the event came after the marriage process was formally concluded. She said that the necessary steps had been followed before the celebration. She added that this marked a new chapter for her sister.

Kitt Kiarie said, “Daddy returned the dowry, spoke to the chief, and Chris was free. So now, we dance!”

The post also carried a strong message about how divorce is viewed in society. She explained that women are often judged more harshly after a marriage ends.

She said this has shaped how many women deal with divorce. Her message focused on changing that thinking. She pointed out that there is a clear difference in how men and women are treated.

Changing views around divorce

Kitt Kiarie said that divorce has often been seen as a failure, especially for women. She explained that this belief has been passed down over time.

She added that many women carry shame after leaving a marriage. Her statement focused on challenging that idea. She said it was time to look at divorce differently.

She said, “We have been taught that divorce is a failure. Especially to women.”

She also spoke about how men are treated differently in similar situations. She said men can move on quickly without facing the same judgment. She explained that society does not question men in the same way. This, she said, creates an unfair balance. Her message called attention to this difference.

She added, “Men literally get married on the day of their divorce, and nobody ever says anything. But women carry so much shame.”
