Karangu Muraya congratulates Ndindi Nyoro on second master’s degree

Kigooco singer and Facebook influencer Karangu Muraya has celebrated Kiharu Member of Parliament [MP] Ndindi Nyoro after the lawmaker graduated with a second master’s degree.
In a post shared on Facebook on Friday, December 19, 2025, Muraya praised Nyoro’s dedication and perseverance, highlighting the significance of earning another advanced degree while balancing his political and public responsibilities.
“Congratulations, my great friend and senior brother Hon. Ndindi Nyoro, today he graduates with the Second Master’s from Kenyatta University. Master of Economics (Policy and Management),” Karangu wrote.
He described Nyoro as a great friend and senior brother, expressing admiration for the example he sets in combining leadership with academic excellence.
“He recently graduated with an M.A. (Economics) from the University of Nairobi,” Karangu added.

This recent milestone comes just three months after Ndindi Nyoro completed a Master of Arts in Economics at the University of Nairobi.
At the time, Nyoro shared a message celebrating the graduands of his cohort.
He expressed pride in the achievement of all students, while also emphasising a broader message of African excellence.
Nyoro wrote that Africa is their business and hailed that he was committed to the continent’s growth and showing the importance of education in driving progress.
“M.A (Economics), UoN. Congratulations to all graduands who graduated from The University of Nairobi today. Wishing you the best. We are African, and Africa is our Business,” the MP wrote.
Schools’ capitation
The Kiharu Member of Parliament has recently been championing education and addressing issues affecting parents and students in his constituency.
Nyoro said the Ministry of Education had issued a circular to school heads proposing a reduction of the capitation allocation per student from Ksh22,000 to Ksh12,000 per year.
“I have been receiving calls from principals that the ministry has sent them a circular purportedly referring to a gazette notice of 2015, wanting to reduce the capitation allocation for day schools,” Ndindi remarked.

He described the proposal as an attempt to cripple the education sector, noting that many parents are already struggling due to the harsh economic climate and rely heavily on bursaries or sponsorships.
“This is totally unacceptable, and I will do everything within my powers as a Member of Parliament to see the government recede on this decision,” he added.
