Rish Kamunge defends Carol Kim, says many women would marry Karangu if given chance

Social media personality Rish Kamunge has come out strongly to defend Carol Kim, the second wife of Facebook influencer Karangu Muraya, amid ongoing online criticism surrounding their relationship.
Speaking in a TikTok video on Saturday, April 25, 2026, Rish criticised those attacking Carol, arguing that much of the backlash is driven by personal insecurities rather than facts. She maintained that Carol is a good wife and insisted that many of the same critics would easily accept Karangu if he approached them romantically.
“Do you people understand that Carol is a good wife? You are actually projecting your insecurities,” she said.
Rish claimed that Karangu receives a significant amount of attention from women, revealing that his direct messages are constantly filled, further emphasising her point that he remains highly desirable.
She also reminded critics that Carol is legally married to Karangu and stated that the two share a strong bond, adding that Karangu deeply loves her. According to Rish, the relationship between the two has been misunderstood by many online users.
“but most of you, if Karangu courted you, you would fall for him head over heels. Have you ever seen his DM? Imagine his DM, many women are messaging him. Yet you are forgetting that Carol is a legally married wife, and Karangu loves her so much,” Rish said.
She went on to caution netizens against participating in online bullying, urging people to sometimes avoid comment sections that promote negativity and unnecessary attacks.
“I know for this one you all are going to trash me in the comments, but Karangu is so much in love with that girl. But tell me, who wouldn’t? I was going through a certain comments section, and sometimes, if you see someone being bullied, it is better to just close it. Bloggers, please, okay,” she added.
Further, Kamunge described Carol as a calm and composed individual, noting that she rarely engages in online drama. She added that those who know her personally understand that she is generous and peaceful.
“Carol is the wife; she is Karangu’s wife. She is good, and she has a lot of peace within her. Have you ever heard her shouting online? And for those of us who know her, do you also know how generous she is?” she said.
Her remarks come amid continued public interest in Karangu’s personal life, which has remained a topic of discussion since he introduced Carol Kim as his second wife in January 2025.
The philanthropist has previously stated that he has been in a relationship with Carol since 2022 and has often described their union as one that brings him peace.
Karangu’s estranged first wife, Triza Njeri, also known as Mamake Muraya, was married to him for over a decade, and their relationship attracted widespread attention, especially following the introduction of Carol.
