Kanyari expresses concern Marion Naipei hasn’t stopped drinking despite being ordained
By Steve Ireri, March 29, 2026Salvation Healing Ministry founder Pastor Victor Kanyari has expressed concern over social media personality Marion Naipei’s continued consumption of alcohol, despite having ordained her to handle key duties within his church.
Speaking during his Sunday, March 29, 2026, service, Kanyari noted that guiding some individuals toward change can be particularly challenging.
“With Marion Naipei, I feel like trying to tame a wild animal is always challenging,” he said.
He revealed that Naipei had consumed alcohol throughout the previous night, yet was expected to be present at church early on Sunday.
Kanyari described how she would eventually arrive late and dramatically enter the service, drawing attention from the congregation.
“Marion Naipei was drinking alcohol the whole night yesterday, and she should be in church here, but she has yet to arrive. You will see her arriving late and entering the church dramatically,” he added.

The pastor highlighted that he has repeatedly encouraged Naipei to stop drinking, but her actions continue to contradict her assurances.
He observed indications that she had recently consumed alcohol, despite claiming to have quit, which he said demonstrates the difficulty of changing certain habits.
Kanyari compared the challenge of guiding Naipei to taming a wild animal, acknowledging that while he feels called to help individuals transform, some cases require more patience and persistence than others.
“She drank alcohol the whole of yesterday, Saturday, and I have been telling her to stop, but she tells me she has stopped, yet you can see her wiping her lips after drinking,” the preacher said.
Despite these setbacks, he reaffirmed his commitment to continue mentoring Naipei, emphasising that his efforts to guide her toward positive change would persist, even though the process is not easy.
He stressed that while some people may be particularly hard to influence, his dedication to helping individuals grow spiritually and morally remains unwavering.
“Now I feel that even if God called me to change people, surely for some individuals it will be hard to change. But I will keep trying, though it is not easy,” Kanyari said.
Marion’s warning to Hanna
In a related development, Naipei cautioned TikToker Hanna Benta against turning to Pastor Victor Kanyari’s church for refuge after she came under intense online scrutiny over leaked private videos.
She claimed that Pastor Victor Kanyari’s church was already full of people it had rescued and added that she personally would not welcome her as a member.
“I hear people saying that after the drama surrounding the videos, she should now go and seek refuge at Kanyari’s church. No, she should not. We are full; we don’t want her,” she said.
Naipei recalled that she had previously gone through a similar experience of her own videos being leaked but later stopped such behaviour.

She expressed concern over Hanna’s situation, questioning why she appeared to be engaging in similar conduct now despite previously presenting herself differently.
“Tell Hanna that I also used to leak my private videos long ago, but I later quit. Now she is the one doing it, and I wonder why. When my own videos leaked, I remember Hanna was compared to me but she said she is a mother and could not do such things,” she said.
