Kabugi gifts Sheryl Gabriella Ksh170K as she celebrates 1 million followers

Sheryl Gabriella, who today celebrates reaching 1 million followers on the platform, shared the generous gesture with her fans.
In a post on social media, Sheryl shared a screenshot of her M-Pesa balance, revealing the cash gift from Kabugi.
She wrote that Kabugi encouraged her to celebrate her achievement, expressing his support and affection.
“He says I should celebrate my 1 million followers, @i_amkabugi nakulombotove,” she wrote.
Relationship
This comes a year after Kabugi addressed rumours about his relationship with Sheryl Gabriella. In a Q&A on Instagram, he clarified that they are just colleagues who create couple content and nothing more.
Kabugi dismissed claims that he was jealous when Sheryl introduced her boyfriend during her birthday.
“I do not have a crush on my mama Seba.” Instead, he praised her dedication and hard work. “She is an actress, singer, journalist, and still manages everything. She truly represents ‘Bidii’ (hard work). Most creatives probably admire her as well.”
He had previously explained that pursuing a romantic relationship with Sheryl could harm their professional relationship and careers. Using a business analogy, he described how mixing work and romance could lead to problems, and said they had cleared up any misunderstandings when people thought they had conflicts.
Kabugi and Sheryl addressed the ongoing online rumours, confirming that they have never dated. They explained that their strong on-screen chemistry often makes people assume there is more between them than there really is.
