Jony Hairdresser reveals he faced bullying in school for having a feminine personality
Content creator Jony Hairdresser has revealed that he faced bullying while in school because of his feminine personality.
He is known for his feminine looks, including wearing makeup, wigs, dresses and high heels. He said his school experience was difficult because he stood out from other boys.
In his interview with Oga Obinna on Monday, March 16, 2026, he explained that his lifestyle and personal choices made him a target. He said other students did not understand him and often judged him. He added that this led to constant harassment during his school years.
He said, “There was a lot of bullying in school, especially for people like me, who have a feminine personality.”

Jony said even simple routines like maintaining cleanliness became an issue. He explained that his habits were different from those of most boys at school. He added that this made him stand out even more.
He siad, “Kuoga tu nakua bullied juu boys hawapendi kuoga wakiwa shule.”
He said he took pride in his hygiene and appearance despite the criticism. He explained that he would bathe regularly and take care of how he looked. He added that this was something others did not expect from him.
“Nillikua naoga mara mbili kwa siku, na lip gloss na napiga nguo pasi,” he said.
Jony shares how classmates reacted to his lifestyle
Jony said his effort to stay clean and well-dressed often drew attention from others. He explained that even though he washed his clothes, it made people notice him. He added that his appearance would leave other students confused.
“Kuosha nguo kwanza na sta soft,” he said.

He said that whenever he passed by, other students would react strongly. He explained that many assumed he was a girl because of how he looked and carried himself. He added that they would only realise it was him after taking a closer look.
He said, “So nikipita tu, wanashangaa wasichana wagani wako hii shule. Kuangalia wanaona ni mimi nimepita.”
Jony also said his personal items became a target for theft. He explained that other students knew he had things they wanted. He added that they would take advantage of this.
“Hata shower gel walikua wanaiba. Walikua wanajua huyu ndio ako na goodies. Lotions, deodorants, body splash…cologne…”
