Jamaican singer Spice offers to relocate kind Ugandan waiter to work for her in the US
By Steve Ireri, May 7, 2026Jamaican dancehall star Spice has offered to relocate a Ugandan waiter to the United States after being impressed by his service during her ongoing tour in the country.
In a video shared on TikTok on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, and which has since gone viral online, the singer is seen interacting warmly with the waiter identified as Lawrence while inside her hotel room.
During the interaction, Spice first asked the waiter whether he had a US visa, to which he responded that he did not have one.
The artiste then encouraged him to begin making efforts to acquire the visa, explaining that she wanted to take him back with her to America.
“Do you have a US visa? So you never got one? But can you make efforts and get one so I can take you with me back to America? You look into it,” Spice said.
She further told him that she would take his phone number so she could personally follow up on the process and communication regarding the possible relocation opportunity.
“I will then take your number so I can follow up, so you can come and live with me in the USA,” she added.

Spice went on to tell the waiter that she had particularly liked his service and did not want anyone else attending to her in the room apart from him.
She instructed him to inform the hotel management that she specifically wanted him to continue serving her until the day she leaves the country.
“First, I don’t want anyone serving me in my room apart from you. I have liked you, so tell the management that I have requested you to serve me until I leave,” she stated.
The dancehall artiste then handed Lawrence a $100 tip, explaining that she hoped the amount was enough because she was unfamiliar with the local currency exchange rates.
Throughout the interaction, Spice repeatedly thanked the waiter for his hospitality and professionalism, with the two sharing light moments as she expressed admiration for his conduct.
“And now let me give you this 100 USD for a tip. I hope it’s enough. I just wanted to make sure it’s enough for a tip because I don’t understand the currency over here, but thank you so much,” Spice said.
