Winfred Wanjiru, better known by her childhood nickname Wixx Mangutha, a content creator and a visual storyteller, has lashed out at fans pressuring her with questions on when she will be having children.

Wixx took to her Instagram page on Thursday, December 18, 2025; during a question and answer session, she firmly maintained that together with her partner, they have come to an agreement in regard to questions on childbearing.

“Before we start, my partner and I have decided this new year we’ll not be answering any questions about kids,” she wrote.

While schooling her fans, the Visual Storyteller explained why netizens should not be quick to ask couples when they plan on having children or if they want to have kids.

“It is very immature and inappropriate and really not anyone’s business if and when we plan to have kids,” she added.

On her part, Wixx revealed that in the past she has been responding to the child-bearing questions politely; however, moving forward, she will not be welcoming such questions.

“In the past I’ve been answering politely…moving forward, when anyone asks, I’ll be blocking them,” Wixx stated.

Huddah’s past remarks on having children

On the other hand, Kenyan socialite and beauty entrepreneur Huddah Monroe recently rose to the spotlight while urging Africans to take a page out of the white community’s playbook when deciding the right time for parenthood.

In a series of Instagram stories, Monroe explained the importance of financial readiness before having children.

“Most African parents, just like most of you, gave birth in the belief that a child comes with their own blessings and their plate that you didn’t prepare for,” she stated.

Adding;

“That poverty mentality needs to be eradicated from the face of earth now. Most parents are aging, some of their 40-year-old children barely made it yet outta that poverty they grew in coz of the unplanned parenthood. Plus, they have their own kids who also they didn’t plan for, who need education, health, and a roof over their heads.”

Huddah highlighted the struggles many African families face, noting that ageing parents and unplanned children contribute to a cycle of poverty.

“And then there’s that parent who is also aging, who is getting old age sickness to take care of. When will this man or woman ever make it? Probably never! Then he dies poor coz bills have finished him plus borrowing and debt, then the cycle continues,” she explained.

The socialite argued that this cycle prevents many Africans from achieving financial stability and prosperity.

“Tell me why white communities will never be ahead? They plan for generations to come before having kids. Africans should do better. Say no to black tax,” Huddah said.
