I never feel change: Corazon Kwamboka criticises her fitness journey

Kenyan fitness influencer Corazon Kwamboka has admitted that despite years of hard work, she often struggles to notice changes in her body.
On Wednesday, March 11, 2026, Kwamboka shared a throwback on her Instagram stories from March 10, 2023. Looking back, she reflected on how much effort she has put into her fitness journey, but also how hard it is to see the results.
She admitted that she rarely feels the change in herself and is often her own harshest critic.
“Facebook memories from March 10 2023… yeah, I’ve definitely done some hard work, I never really see or feel the change, I’m my worst critic.” Corazon shared..

The muscle mummy recently got a knee injury. Taking to her Instagram stories, she expressed frustration over the situation but emphasised the importance of long-term health. She stated that she is moving away from training motivated by appearance or ego and is now focusing on exercises that promote overall longevity and wellness.
“Finally decided to see a doctor for my knee, I’m so pissed about all this, moving forward, I’m done training for ego but only for longevity,” Corazon shared.
Corazon Kwamboka has often highlighted how fitness has positively affected her mental health, showing that her workouts are about more than just physical appearance. She has also addressed critics who argue that years of training haven’t given her a muscular physique.
“The gym has improved my mental health! That’s why I don’t care when people say I’ve been working out for years without any muscles! I do it for how it makes me feel, not how it makes me look! And I’ll never miss a nice, well-prepared meal,” she said.
Adding;
“Working out every day because gym membership is much cheaper than therapy. Never miss a Monday workout! This beach workout had me sweating in just 5 minutes.”
Corazon regularly shares advice on achieving a toned and healthy body through dedication rather than shortcuts.

On January 22, 2025, she spoke out about unrealistic expectations around quick fitness results and the reliance on gimmicks like slimming teas or waist belts.
“One of the questions I get asked, and I hate. Just work out, please. There is no exercise for a flat tummy specifically, no tea, no belt, and no magic unless you go the surgery route. Just work out and eat right,” she said.

She also emphasised the value of full-body workouts and consistency, pointing out that genetics influence how the body responds.
“Your body will respond how it wants to respond, depending on your genetics. Stop looking for shortcuts! Go to the gym and work your whole body, and you will see results progressively,” she added.
“Stop looking for shortcuts! Go to the gym and work your whole body, and you will see results progressively. I’ve always had a tiny mid-section way before my babies, so it’s genetics. But anyone can achieve anything with consistency,” Corazon shared.
