By , February 16, 2026

Social media personality Wanja Nyarari has celebrated her new look, revealing that she has lost fifteen kilogrammes over the last three months.

She attributed the weight loss to a challenging season in life, which saw her mother figure battle health challenges that later claimed her life.

In a statement on her Facebook account on Monday, February 16, 2026, the businesswoman shared that she lost her appetite during the period as a result of emotional stress, making it clear that her present weight is not a result of any product.

“My own weight loss happened from November to now; when Iron Lady started seriously ailing, it was a very hard season; my appetite disappeared because of emotional stress, and I have lost 15 kg. It was not planned. It was not a product. It was not a “transformation journey,” Nyarari said.

She embraced her new look and called for honesty, asserting that glorifying struggles for sale should come to an end, as

“I will never turn a painful season into an advertisement. Let’s normalise honesty. Let’s protect people’s health. Let’s stop glorifying struggles for sales. I love my new look, though, and my appetite is still zero,” Nyarari said.

Nyarari cautioned people against packaging medical struggles as product success stories when it comes to weight loss.

Drawing from her personal experience, the social media personality stated that not every weight loss is the result of a miracle drink, despite some people presenting them as such.

“Not every slim body is the result of a miracle drink. Some weight loss comes from illness. Some from surgery. Some from stress. Some medical conditions that affect appetite and blood sugar.

Misleading people on weight loss

She shared that she knows someone who lost weight as a result of medical struggles, but later credited the same to a product, misleading the public.

“And it is dangerous to package medical struggles as product success stories. I personally know of someone who is going through Hypoglycaemia and went through a serious health condition and even surgery, yet the weight loss was later credited to a product. That is exactly how people get misled,” Nyarari stated.
