‘Hujasoma’: Mbavu Destroyer mocks Majembe for showing off iPhone 17 on TikTok live
Amateur boxer Mbavu Destroyer has publicly lashed out at his rival, Majembe, after a heated exchange on TikTok Live, where Majembe was seen flaunting what he claimed to be a newly acquired iPhone 17.
During the live on Saturday, April 25, 2026, Majembe confidently displayed the device to viewers, insisting that it was the latest iPhone 17 model.
He repeatedly held up the phone to the camera and urged viewers to look closely as he boasted about the gadget he was using.
“You are still far from reaching this level, that’s why I’m telling you. You see the phone I am using? iPhone 17,” he said.
Majembe told off Mbavu, saying he is far from reaching such a level and encouraging him to acknowledge the kind of phone he was now using.
He insisted that the device he was live on was an iPhone 17 and asked viewers to confirm that they had seen it clearly.
‘Let me even take a video so you can clearly see the phone I am using, the iPhone 17, my brother. Here is the phone. The one I am on live with is the iPhone 17. I hope you have seen it. So settle and rest,” Majembe added.

Mbavu Destroyer, however, responded angrily, dismissing Majembe’s claims and accusing him of showing off after a fight.
He said that the money Majembe got after the fight had been quickly used to buy a phone, adding that he believed Majembe was uneducated and lacked wisdom.
Mbavu further questioned why Majembe was taking videos to prove the phone he had, insisting that such behaviour was unnecessary. He said it was important to be wise and sharp, claiming that Majembe might only have a phone cover and not the actual device he was showing off.
“You got a little money after the fight and rushed to buy a phone, that’s why I keep saying you are uneducated, you didn’t go to school. Why are you even taking pictures so I can see your new phone? It is important to be wise and sharp, my brother. I know you were left with just a phone cover, that’s what you are showing off,” he said.
He further mocked him, saying he was sorry for him and even offered to give him some money so he could buy a real phone.
Mbavu added that he would personally come and help him get a proper phone instead of relying on show-off behaviour.
“That cover you are showing off, I will even add you some money so you can buy a real phone. I will come and buy you a phone,” Mbavu stated.
