In her message, Edith also shared a Bible verse, expressing her faith and belief in God’s will even in the midst of grief, saying she trusts that her father is now in God’s care.
“I loved you with all my heart, and I lived to show it… to your last breath today. I can’t believe you’re gone, Lord. Please help me. It is not well. But it is well in you, Lord Jesus. He is with you Lord Jesus. Thank you for receiving him,” she wrote.

The family has since announced that daily meetings will be held at their home in Gikambura from 3:00 p.m. as they prepare for the burial set for Thursday, May 21, 2026.
