Ezekiel Mutua reflects on unforgettable royal wedding of Apostle Munai and Dr Princess

Former Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) CEO Ezekiel Mutua has reflected on the star-studded Royal Wedding of Apostle Peter Munai and Dr Princess Carolyne Mutisya, describing the event as colourful, vibrant, and unforgettable.

In a post shared on Facebook on Sunday, March 1, 2026, Mutua said he had the honour of serving as Chairman of the Planning Committee and praised the effort of everyone who contributed to the success of the event.

“Random Royalty. With Solomon Solomon Ongere Omboto, Papa Tomaso and friends at the Royal Wedding at Windsor yesterday. It was dubbed the “Royal Wedding”, and it truly lived up to its billing,” he said.

He revealed that the wedding brought together some of Kenya’s top artistes and industry luminaries, including Sainaipei Tande, Wapendwa Mziki of Bonge la Surprise fame, Stellar Mengele, Zipporah Eric, Stephen Kasolo, Fortune Mwikali, Sophie Quinn, and Oga Obinna.

The media personality also said that interacting with these creative powerhouses was a highlight, noting that their collective talent and dedication turned the wedding into a resounding success.

“The star-studded wedding featured top artistes and MCSK luminaries, including the indefatigable Sainaipei Tande, Wapendwa Mziki of the Bonge la Surprise fame, Stellar Mengele aka Auntie wa Mbai, Zipporah Eric, Stephen Kasolo, Fortune Mwikali, Sophie Quinn, and Oga Obina. It was an absolute honour to serve as Chairman of the Planning Committee and to interact with these creative powerhouses, who played a pivotal role in turning the event into a resounding success,” Mutua added.

Mutua revealed that one of the most memorable moments for him was riding inside a horse-drawn cart with the bride’s father, Rev. Patrick Mutinda, and the officiating minister, Bishop Daniel Kwesi.

He said that during the ride, they held hands and thanked God for the blessed day, reflecting on the significance of the ceremony and the joy of the couple.

“Right inside that horse-drawn cart with the bride’s father, Rev. Patrick Mutinda, and the minister of the day, Bishop Daniel Kwesi, we held hands and simply thanked God for such a blessed day,” he wrote.

He further shared his congratulations to the newlyweds, Dr Princess and Apostle Munai, describing the wedding as beautiful and colourful, while emphasising that the event fully lived up to its billing as a “Royal Wedding”.

“Congratulations to Dr Princess and Apostle Munai on your beautiful, colourful wedding,” he added.
