Rhema Feast: Ruto joins thousands of worshippers on final day

President William Ruto has joined thousands of worshippers at Uhuru Park, Nairobi, for the grand finale of the five-day Rhema Feast 2026.

First Lady Rachael Ruto accompanied the President to the gathering on Friday, September 4, 2026, which has attracted Christians from across Kenya and emerged as one of the biggest Christian worship gatherings in the country in recent times.

Ruto attended the final day as worshippers gathered for a programme of preaching, worship, prayer and praise.

The Rhema Feast, which runs from August 31 to September 4, is being held under the theme “Come, Let Us Rebuild.”

Ruto joins worshippers

Ruto’s appearance comes as the five-day gathering enters its final day at Uhuru Park.

The event has brought together thousands of Christians for worship, preaching and prayer, with the grand finale expected to continue into the night with a Kesha.

Organisers had invited worshippers to turn up early on Friday for the final day of the gathering, with activities beginning in the morning.

Rachael Ruto was also present alongside the President as worshippers filled the expansive Uhuru Park grounds.

Her presence added to the high-profile attendance at an event that has attracted Christians from different parts of the country.

Prominent preachers feature at Rhema Feast

The five-day gathering has featured a high-profile lineup of local and international Christian ministers.

Among the prominent preachers and word ministers at the event are Apostle Joshua Selman, Apostle Michael Orokpo, Apostle Grace Lubega, Pastor Poju Oyemade, Dr David Ogbueli, Bishop J.B. Masinde, Bishop Kathy Kiuna, Bishop Funke Felix-Adejumo, Apostle Mignonne Kabera, Apostle Felix Okoh, Pastor T. Mwangi and Pastor George Macharia.

The event is convened by Rev. Julian Kyula, the founder of Rhema Feast and senior pastor of Ruach Assemblies.

Apostle Joshua Selman and Apostle Michael Orokpo have been among the major international names featured during the gathering, alongside other ministers from Kenya and across Africa.

The worship programme has also featured gospel ministers including Sinach, Dunsin Oyekan, Dr Tumi and Ntokozo Mbambo, adding to the event’s international appeal.

Salasya attends previous day

Mumias East MP Peter Salasya was also among the notable political figures who attended the Rhema Feast on Thursday, September 3, 2026, a day before the grand finale.

His appearance added to the list of public figures who have joined worshippers during the gathering.

The large turnout has made the Rhema Feast a major feature on Kenya’s Christian calendar, with worshippers converging at Uhuru Park throughout the five-day programme.

The organisers describe Rhema Feast as a non-denominational apostolic gathering focused on the Word, worship and spiritual renewal. The 2026 edition has been held under the theme “Come, Let Us Rebuild.”

As the festival concludes on Friday, September 4, 2026, worshippers are expected to remain at the venue for the grand finale programme featuring preaching, worship and the night Kesha.
