5 major concerts featuring top artistes coming to Kenya
By William Muthama, September 11, 2026Kenya’s concert calendar is filling up with major international music stars set to perform in Nairobi between October and December 2026.
From R&B and Congolese rumba to reggae and electronic music, fans have several big shows to look forward to in the coming months.
Here are five major concerts to look out for.
Ne-Yo
Three-time Grammy winner Ne-Yo is returning to Kenya after 11 years for One Night Only: The Brunch Edition, set for Tuesday, October 20, 2026, in Nairobi.
The “Miss Independent”, “Closer” and “So Sick” hitmaker will perform on Mashujaa Day as part of the daytime brunch concert.
Tickets go on sale on September 12, with early-bird tickets starting from KSh7,500.
The show gives Kenyan fans a chance to see the R&B star perform in a daytime setting.
Koffi Olomide
Congolese rumba legend Koffi Olomide is set to headline the #MachokaAt50 Grand Concert on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Ulinzi Sports Complex in Lang’ata.
The concert will celebrate veteran broadcaster Fred Obachi Machoka’s 50 years in radio.
Koffi, popularly known as the Grand Mopao, is expected to bring his energetic live performance, dancers, and rumba hits to Nairobi.
Don Carlos
Reggae legend Don Carlos will headline a two-night roots reggae celebration at Carnivore Grounds on October 9 and 10, 2026.
The Black Uhuru founding member will be joined by his son Geo and other reggae performers.
The event will also feature a Rising Stars competition, giving emerging musicians an opportunity to take the stage alongside established reggae acts.
Keinemusik
Berlin-based electronic music collective Keinemusik will make its Nairobi debut at Uhuru Gardens on Saturday, November 21, 2026.
The collective, made up of &ME, Rampa and Adam Port, has become a major name in contemporary house and electronic music.
Their Nairobi appearance is expected to attract electronic music enthusiasts and fans eager to experience the collective’s sound live.
Fatboy Slim
British DJ and big-beat pioneer Fatboy Slim is heading to Nairobi for a club show at Muze on Friday, December 11, 2026.
The DJ, whose real name is Norman Cook, is known for global hits including “Praise You”, “The Rockafeller Skank” and “Right Here, Right Now”.
His Nairobi appearance will offer fans a more intimate experience compared with his usual festival performances.
