Evelyn Wanjiru credits her Nigerian husband for steering her ministry to success
By Steve Ireri, December 8, 2025Award-winning Kenyan worship artiste Evelyn Wanjiru has poured heartfelt praises on her Nigerian husband, Agundabweni Agundy Akweyu, crediting him for the success of her ministry.
In a post shared on Facebook on Monday, December 8, 2025, Evelyn described Agundy as the flesh of her life and a gift from God, acknowledging his steadfast support, prayers, sacrifices, and tireless efforts behind the scenes.
“To my love… the flesh of my flesh… the one God chose just for me — Agundabweni. I honour you, I love you, and I see everything you do,” she wrote.
She highlighted that he stood firm during the heaviest moments, encouraged her dreams, and contributed to every achievement she has celebrated, both privately and publicly.
Evelyn affirmed that her ministry stands today because Agundy believed in her vision when no one else did, calling him the cornerstone of all that she has accomplished in her worship work.
“Thank you for carrying this ministry with me, for standing firm when the weight was heavy, and for giving your all when no one was watching. Thank you for every prayer, every sacrifice, every sleepless night, every push, every dream you’ve breathed life into,” Evelyn added.
Evelyn then prayed for his long life and abundant blessings, wishing that God would reward him openly for all he had done privately.
“You are God’s gift to me and to this vision. With long life, may God satisfy you. May He reward you openly for everything you’ve done privately. I am who I am because you believed in me… and this ministry stands because you stood,” she added.
Praise Atmosphere 2025
In the same post, Evelyn revealed the lineup of guest ministers for her highly anticipated ‘Praise Atmosphere 2025′ event.
She revealed that they will include revered USA-based pastor Naomi Raine, Guardian Angel, Kestin Mbogo, Lady Bee, Wilberforce Musyoka, Njoki Munyi, and herself.

On that note, she also extended a warm message to Ruach Assemblies’ founder, Reverend Julian Kyula.
She revealed that Kyula has been exceptionally supportive ever since she announced plans to host the event, adding that he has played a significant role in ensuring its success.
“Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Dr. Rev. Julian Kyula. Thank you, sir, for the endless support you have so graciously offered to Praise Atmosphere over the years. Your wisdom, your covering, and your unwavering belief in this vision have carried us further than words can express. In this Season of Completion, we honor you deeply. Thank you for standing with us, guiding us, and cheering us on,we are truly blessed,” Evelyn added.
