Evelyn Wanjiru celebrates birthday with message of new beginnings and answered prayers

In a heartfelt post shared on Facebook on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, the ‘Utukufu’ hitmaker expressed deep gratitude to God for the gift of life, describing the occasion as another opportunity to walk in purpose and grace.
Wanjiru used the moment to share a prophetic message centred on the theme “Look Again,” encouraging her followers to reflect on their journeys and recognise the growth and changes taking place in their lives.
“LOOK AGAIN, and you will see the transforming work I have been doing in you. Like a caterpillar after a long time of contained growth, it’s time to expand and fly. #HAPPYBirthdayMyLove Look again, and you will see where you sowed desperate tears in prayer, like rain in drought, a harvest of hope is beginning to grow,” she wrote.
She likened personal transformation to that of a caterpillar evolving into a butterfly, noting that seasons of quiet growth often lead to expansion and new opportunities.
According to her, moments of pain and desperation, especially those expressed through prayer, can eventually yield hope and a breakthrough.

The gospel singer further urged her audience to remain steadfast in faith, emphasising the importance of keeping their focus on God as the source of direction and fulfilment.
In her message, she referenced Bible scripture, particularly Isaiah 54:2-3, highlighting themes of enlargement, new territory, and divine favour. She noted that many people are stepping into new assignments, forming new connections, and experiencing doors opening after long periods of waiting.
“Many will step into new assignments, new locations, new connections. The doors that wouldn’t budge open will now begin to open. The hinge is ready to move. LOOK AGAIN, for I am bringing you into new territory,” she quoted.
Wanjiru also reflected on how what may have seemed like endings in previous seasons could actually be the foundation for new beginnings, encouraging believers to trust in God’s timing.
As she celebrated her special day, the singer expressed joy and thanksgiving, saying her heart was full as she embraced another year of life.
“For many, what seemed like a dead ending of the last season is where I have ploughed the ground for a NEW BEGINNING. Celebrating every beautiful moment of this special day, I was born I’m deeply grateful to God for the gift of life, another day, another year added, another chance to walk in purpose and grace.
