Media personality and stand-up comedian Sande Bush, widely known as Dr Ofweneke, has advised men to take their time before introducing their romantic partners to their families.

Speaking on Friday, January 30, 2026, Ofweneke said that before a family introduction, men should be 100 percent sure that their lover meets all the qualifications they desire.

He warned that rushing family introductions can lead to unnecessary pressure and complications, especially when a relationship is still new.

“Do not introduce a woman to your family until you are 100 percent sure that all the boxes are ticked,” Ofweneke warned.

According to Ofweneke, men should first spend enough quality time with their partners to truly understand who they are before involving family members.

“Men, before you go and introduce your woman to your family, make sure you have spent a good time with her to know her well first,” he added.

Dream home

This comes days after he advised men to think twice before building their dream homes without first getting married.

Speaking in a candid message on Monday, January 26, 2026, Dr Ofwenweke warned that many men make costly mistakes by investing heavily in property while neglecting to build a stable family foundation.

According to him, men should only build their dream home after getting married.

“Men, do not build your dream home without a woman; marry first before you build your dream house,” Ofweneke warned.

Investing in women

In addition, the media personality also cautioned men against spending money on women who are not willing to invest back into the relationship.

According to him, relationships should be based on mutual effort and support, not one-sided financial sacrifice.

“Do not invest in women who are not ready to invest in you, men, do not invest in a woman that is not ready to invest in you, men do not spend your money on a woman who is not investing anything in you,” he said.

He encouraged men to seek partners who are emotionally, financially and mentally committed, noting that real relationships grow when both parties are willing to contribute.

“If a woman do not have money to spend on you, also do not have money to spend on herself,” Ofweneke stated.
