Actress Dorea Chege has shared an emotional account of her childbirth journey, revealing that she went through 18 hours of labour followed by an emergency surgery.

She said on Friday, March 27, 2026, that the experience was painful but meaningful because it led to the birth of her child.

“18 hours of labour. Emergency surgery. And I’d do it all again without hesitation. Because that’s how much I wanted you, my wanjiku,” Dorea Chege said.
