Doctorate and other qualities that made Thee Pluto fall for his wife
Popular YouTuber and entrepreneur Robert Ndegwa Kamau, also known as Thee Pluto, has opened up about the profound qualities that drew him to his wife.
In a statement shared on his official Instagram account on Wednesday, January 8, 2026, Pluto described their relationship as one built on growth, purpose, and a shared vision, rather than public attention.

According to Thee Pluto, their journey began as a friendship formed during a difficult season in his life.
Despite coming from different backgrounds and two different worlds, he says their paths aligned naturally, creating a bond that would later grow into marriage.
“From friendship born in a season when life was heavy, to a bond that carried us across the world. We come from two different globes, but somehow our paths aligned,” Thee Pluto wrote.
Wife’s qualities
The father of two further outlined what stood out most to him about his wife.
He says it was how his wife spoke about the future, how she naturally used the word “we” when talking about life ahead, adding that it was a sign that she was already thinking beyond herself.
Pluto noted that it was not about noise or appearances, but intention and mindset.
“What pulled me closer wasn’t noise or appearances, it was how naturally she spoke in “we” when talking about the future. That told me everything,” he said.
Thee Pluto also praised his wife for being private and disciplined, describing her as someone who does not chase online attention, adding that she is a focused medical professional who earned her doctorate through sacrifice, consistency and a clear sense of purpose.
“She’s not an online person, not chasing attention, just a focused, disciplined medical professional. Doctorate earned through sacrifice, consistency and purpose. She challenged me in ways love should,” Pluto stated.
He further revealed that his wife challenged him to grow, recalling a moment when she encouraged him to aim higher academically.
“She looked at my undergraduate level and said, “You can do more, we’re the same age buana” So if you see me in a classroom, don’t ask a question. All I know is business na kutafuta pesa but it’s time to elevate! It’s good to be honourable!! That challenge changed me. Sometimes love doesn’t pamper you; it pushes you,” he noted.
Beyond personal ambition, Thee Pluto highlighted how his wife embraced his daughter with unconditional love, saying she treated her as if she were her own. He added that she saw his flaws clearly but still chose to stand by him.
“She loved my daughter like her own, without conditions. She saw my flaws clearly and still chose me. And I chose her, just as intentionally, to walk this lifetime journey together,” he highlighted.
