DJ Mo injured in robbery attack and rushed to hospital
Award-winning gospel spinmaster DJ Mo has been rushed to the hospital following a robbery incident that left him with injuries.
His wife, Size 8, confirmed the incident, revealing that the attack happened on Friday, March 13, 2026, in the morning.
According to Size 8’s statement, DJ Mo was in Kenol when he was accosted by a gang wielding weapons, who robbed him.

Items lost during the attack
Size added that Mo lost his phone during the attack that left him with serious injuries.
A video shared by his wife shows him with a deep cut in his hand inflicted by a weapon that the gang had, with voices in the video revealing that the gang was armed with a panga.
Size 8 thanked God for sparing his spouse’s life in a prayerful message.
“The devil is a Liar! Our God reigns supreme! Jesus Christ is Lord! Dear God thank you for life. Today I post to give God glory for safeguarding my husband’s life @djmokenya,” she stated.
She also thanked those who rushed to his rescue, revealing that the attackers attacked him with a panga and made away with his phone.
“Akiwa pande za Kenol, thieves attacked him with a panga, took His phone, but he is alive. Woi God, you are Jehovah Sabaoth. Thank you for preserving life. Asante sana to Tash, Kevo, and Ben for the great rescue. God bless you,” she stated.
Celebrities and fans reach out
As news of the attack spread, netizens reached out to wish DJ Mo well, with some expressing concern over his well-being.
Gospel singer Guardian Angel and content creator Milly Chebby are among those who wished him well, with fans expressing concerns over the security situation in the country, citing similar attacks by armed gangs.
In a subsequent update, DJ Mo assured his followers that he is doing better while expressing hope that those behind the attack will finally get justice.

“Thank you, fam🙏.. I’m better, but siku yao itafika soon,” he said.
The attack comes barely days after gospel singer Jimmy Gait was rushed to the hospital after surviving a similar ordeal in the Runda area of Nairobi.
Jimmy Gait was attacked on the morning of Sunday, February 22, 2026, at approximately 10:00 a.m.
The armed attackers inflicted injuries on the singer and robbed him of his personal belongings.
