The award was conferred by Harvest Christian University, which highlighted Brown’s decades-long impact on the global entertainment industry.
Chris Brown shared the news through his social media platforms, posting photos of himself in ceremonial academic regalia holding the honorary degree.
“I DID A THING!” Chris Brown wrote.
According to the certificate, the degree was awarded on Saturday, May 23, 2026, with the university honouring Brown for his longstanding impact on music, entertainment, and performance culture.
