Wicknell Chivayo offers Ksh32M birthday lunch money to Zimbabwean preacher
By Paulette Mboga, September 6, 2026Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo has offered $250,000 (about Ksh32 million) as birthday lunch money to Zimbabwean preacher Uebert Angel, while also promising his wife a brand-new 2026 Rolls-Royce Ghost facelift.
Chivayo made the offer while celebrating Angel’s birthday and praising his work in ministry. He wished him many more years filled with success and happiness, while also highlighting his preaching and the impact of his ministry.
“Today I join millions around the world in celebrating an extraordinary MAN OF GOD, PROPHET UEBERT ANGEL. Happy Birthday to you, MAJOR 1; here’s wishing you many more years to come, all filled with abundant success and endless happiness,” Wicknell Chivayo said on Sunday, September 6, 2026.
Chivayo said Angel’s journey in ministry, passion for preaching the WORD OF GOD and global impact continued to inspire people across nations. He also wished him wisdom, strength, good health and blessed years.
He then revealed that Angel’s wife would receive a new luxury car as part of the birthday celebrations. Chivayo said the 2026 Rolls-Royce Ghost facelift would be delivered the following week and that it had already been fully paid for.
A birthday lunch worth millions
Chivayo said Angel’s wife deserved to be celebrated for standing beside him throughout his journey. He explained that he struggled to decide what birthday present to give Angel because he described him as a successful businessman who could afford almost anything.
“YOUR AMAZING WIFE’S BRAND-NEW 2026 ROLLS-ROYCE GHOST FACELIFT will be delivered NEXT WEEK, fully paid for and ready for her to enjoy,” Wicknell Chivayo said.
Chivayo then made his US$250,000 offer, describing the money as a small birthday lunch contribution. He asked Angel to send his driver to collect the cash and use it to take his family out for a celebration.
“So, from the BOTTOM OF MY HEART, tomorrow please send your driver to collect US$250,000 CASH from me just as little BIRTHDAY LUNCH MONEY,” Wicknell Chivayo said.
“Please take your beautiful family out, enjoy yourselves and have a wonderful celebration on me,” Wicknell Chivayo added.
He ended his birthday message by asking God to continue blessing Angel abundantly. Chivayo also repeated his wishes for the preacher’s birthday and prayed for his continued service, Chivayo said.
