Vindee reveals he lost all his streaming equipment during Netherlands trip
By William Muthama, August 21, 2026Streamer and content creator Vindee has revealed that he lost all his streaming equipment after forgetting his bag on a bus during his recent trip to the Netherlands.
In an Instagram video on Friday, August 21, 2026, the streamer said the incident left him with only his phone, forcing him to find ways of continuing his livestreams without the equipment he normally relies on.
Vindee said his microphone, stand, lights and other items used for streaming were all in the bag he left behind.
Speaking to his followers, Vindee explained that the loss was one of the reasons he had not been streaming consistently in recent days.
He said the incident happened after he travelled to the Netherlands as part of his European streaming journey.
“Manze, venye tulikuwa tulienda Netherlands, tulifika hivi kama, ah, nilisahau bag kwa basi. Tulipoteza kila kitu ya kustream,” Vindee said.
The streamer added that his phone was the only device he had left that could allow him to continue communicating with his audience.
The loss came after Vindee had already spent more than a month streaming from Germany. He announced on August 5, 2026, that he was moving his European streaming tour to the Netherlands after spending more than a month in Germany.

Vindee began his Germany tour before travelling to the Netherlands, where he planned to continue his IRL livestreams from Amsterdam.
During his time in Germany, he streamed from different locations and interacted with fans as he expanded his content beyond Kenya.
His European tour has formed part of his wider push to build his profile as an IRL streamer, taking his broadcasts to different cities and allowing his audience to follow his experiences in real time.
Despite losing his equipment, Vindee used the experience to encourage his followers not to give up when they encounter setbacks.
He said challenges should not prevent people from pursuing their goals, urging his audience to keep working even when circumstances become difficult.
“Even if kuna challenges kwa njia, we make sure tu unajituma, usiache hata kama nini inafanyika,” he said.
Vindee acknowledged that there are moments when he feels strong and others when he feels weak, but maintained that people should continue pushing towards their goals.
He also encouraged his followers not to allow anyone or anything to block their path.
