Vindee recalls moment he rescued a woman involved in an accident while live streaming

Kenyan prankster and In Real Life (IRL) streamer Vindee has recalled a moment he came to the rescue of a woman involved in a road accident along the Nairobi Expressway while he was live-streaming.

The incident, which happened during one of his livestreams, has since attracted attention online as he detailed how the situation unfolded and why he stepped in.

Speaking during an interview on Sunday, June 7, 2026, he explained that the moment he noticed the accident, the situation already appeared serious. According to him, the woman inside the vehicle was in shock and unable to move or open the door as the condition inside the car worsened.

“If I weren’t streaming, that woman would have died because that woman was already in shock and couldn’t be able to move or open the door,” he stated.

He went on to describe how the situation inside the vehicle became more dangerous as fuel began to leak. He added that this made the scene even more urgent as time was running out.

“And the car had already started pouring petrol. That woman would have exploded inside the car,” he said.

Vindee further reflected on what shocked him most at the scene, saying there were no immediate attempts by other road users to stop and assist. He noted that the woman remained trapped without help for a critical period. “And what even shocked me was that you can die there alone because there were no cars that stopped,” he stated.

He added that, in his view, the situation could have ended badly if he had not been streaming at that exact moment, since that is what led him to the incident. He also suggested that emergency response might have taken longer to arrive.

“If I weren’t streaming, nothing would have taken me there. There were no other people who would have helped the woman, maybe the and the police would have come late. And another car would have also hit the woman’s car badly,” he said.

Copying IshowSpeed

Vindee also responded to claims circulating online that he is copying content creator IShowSpeed, dismissing the comparisons and saying he is focused on his own path.

“So those who are saying I’m copying IShowSpeed, I’m one person who doesn’t care, and what I care for is something that’s ahead of me, or rather, the future and vision,” he claimed.

He maintained that the incident remains a significant experience for him, both as a livestreamer and as a witness to a life-threatening situation on the busy highway.
