Vindee announces Netherlands stream as he prepares to leave Germany
By Steve Ireri, August 5, 2026IRL streamer Vindee has announced that the Netherlands will be the next destination on his European streaming tour, revealing that he is preparing to begin his next series of live broadcasts from Amsterdam after spending more than a month in Germany.
Speaking in a Twitch livestream on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, the content creator called on his fans in the Netherlands to prepare for his arrival, saying the country would host the next chapter of his increasingly popular travel streams.
“Netherlands, now I want you to be ready. I am coming there, and I want you all to gear up. So my Netherlands family, I am coming, and I will start my stream in Amsterdam,” Vindee said.
The streamer expressed excitement over how his content has evolved, noting that he is now travelling between some of Europe’s biggest capital cities.
According to Vindee, his current priority is to explore and stream from major cities before venturing into smaller towns.
“It is so good to see that I am now travelling between capital cities. So for my fans who live in upcountry places around here, you will have to wait a bit because I am prioritising visiting capital cities at the moment,” he added.
During the livestream, Vindee also responded to one of his viewers who wanted to know whether he had started missing Kenyan food, particularly chapati, while living in Germany.
The streamer admitted that he had not missed the local delicacy or anything else from home since relocating to Europe.
“I see someone commenting and asking if I have missed Kenyan foods like chapati while I am here in Germany. To be honest, I do not. To be honest, there is not even a single thing that I miss about Kenya,” he said.
Vindee then went on to claim that many of those following his streams wished they could enjoy a similar lifestyle abroad.
“I am also sure that 80 per cent of people who are watching my stream now are wishing they could have this life that I have,” he added.
Appeal to IEBC
Separately, the streamer appealed to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to give him an opportunity to livestream the progress of the 2027 General Election from the beginning of the voting process until the final moments.
Speaking while continuing with his Germany tour on Saturday, August 1, 2026, Vindee said he was ready to take on the task of providing Kenyans with full-time livestream coverage of the election, promising to keep his audience updated on developments as they unfold.
“IEBC, I am requesting you give me the job where I will be livestreaming how the elections are progressing. I will stream full-time till the elections are done,” he said.
The streamer said he believed he had already demonstrated his ability to remain live for extended periods, recalling the time he streamed continuously for 48 hours.
“And you all know I can do that, as you remember that time when I streamed for 48 hours,” he added.
Vindee said his proposed livestream would allow Kenyans to follow various developments surrounding the election without missing important moments.
“I will be streaming for you to see all the developments in the elections, and you will not miss anything,” he said.
He also highlighted what he described as an advantage he would have when undertaking the marathon livestream, saying he intended to acquire specialised streaming equipment that would allow him to remain online even in the event of challenges such as electricity outages.
“I have the advantage of that. For me, power will not be lost. There will be no electricity outage affecting me,” he said.
Vindee explained that he planned to purchase what he described as a rare streaming gadget, which he claimed would make it difficult for his livestream to be disrupted.
“That is because I am going to buy a rare streaming gadget that cannot be pulled down or face power outages. If you are live with that gadget, it cannot be pulled down by other people,” he explained.
