Vera Sidika shuts down claims Tipsy Gee robbed her

Socialite Vera Sidika has strongly denied claims that musician Tipsy Gee stole from her, dismissing the accusation as false and damaging to his reputation.

In an Instagram post on Sunday, June 21, 2026, Vera accused critics of spreading false information and attempting to tarnish the musician’s name.

“Y’all are really going to such extreme lengths to ruin someone’s reputation with lies? That’s honestly disgusting. It’s okay if you don’t like him, but making false accusations is a different story altogether. He is someone’s son, someone’s family, and these claims are serious,” she said.

Vera firmly denied ever being robbed by anyone and insisted the accusations were entirely fabricated.

“Let me be very clear: NOBODY has ever stolen from me, not even a single dollar, in my entire life! I said what I said,” she stated.

The socialite also expressed confidence in her ability to protect herself from fraud and theft.

“I’m far too smart to be scammed or stolen from,” she added.

Defends musician

Vera went on to defend Tipsy Gee, describing him as a respectful and kind individual.

According to her, the musician has never borrowed money from her and has always conducted himself appropriately.

“And for the record, he is a great guy; humble, respectful, and kind. He has never borrowed anything from me, not even a dollar. This is completely wrong. Stop spreading false information. Unless you’re talking about another Vera, it is certainly not me,” she said.

The mother of two urged social media users to stop spreading what she termed as false information, insisting that the claims being circulated online were completely untrue.

Rumours spread fast

The rumours gained traction online after reports emerged claiming that Tipsy Gee had been spotted at a police station in Nairobi and was linked to a theft complaint involving Vera.

The claims surfaced weeks after Vera and Tipsy Gee attracted attention online following a series of public appearances together.

The pair had been spotted enjoying trips to Naivasha and the Mambrui dunes, fuelling speculation among fans. While their closeness generated buzz, neither party publicly confirmed details about their relationship.
