Tileh Pacbro challenges Ashton Hall to race a matatu when he visits Kenya
By Katemarthason Okudo, July 2, 2026Content creator and dancer Tileh Pacbro has challenged American fitness influencer Ashton Hall to race a matatu when he arrives in Kenya for his African tour.
Tileh made the challenge in an Instagram post on Thursday, July 2, 2026, where he shared a video of himself racing alongside a matatu, commonly known in Kenya as a nganya. The dancer then asked his followers to tag Ashton Hall and encourage him to take on the challenge once he lands in the country.
“Ashtonhall, it’s time to race a NGANYA,” Tileh wrote.
A race with Kenya’s famous matatus
Matatus are a familiar part of daily life in Kenya, especially in Nairobi, where some are known for colourful artwork, loud music and customised designs.
Tileh’s post appeared to be a light-hearted way of introducing Ashton to one of the country’s most recognisable forms of public transport.
By referring to matatus as some of the “sickest buses in the world”, Tileh invited the American influencer to experience a side of Kenyan culture that is often seen on social media.

The challenge has drawn attention from fans, with many reacting to the idea of Ashton Hall taking part in a race against a Kenyan matatu.
Tileh ready to represent Kenya
Tileh’s latest post comes days after streamer Vindee named him as the Kenyan content creator best placed to represent the country during Ashton’s visit.
Vindee said Tileh had the fitness background, discipline and physique needed to match Ashton’s content style when the American influencer eventually arrives in Kenya.
The dancer welcomed the idea and said he was ready to show visitors a positive side of the country. “I’ve heard your call, let’s show Ashton Hall what Kenya is made of,” Tileh said in an earlier response.

He added that Kenya has many beautiful places and experiences that deserve to be highlighted. “Kenya is a highly developed country packed with beautiful things to see. As much as I come from the hood, I believe enough of that is shown every day. Let’s redefine and control our own image. Expect a show,” he said.
Ashton Hall’s African tour
Ashton Hall is expected to visit Kenya as part of his planned tour across all 54 African countries. The American content creator has built a global audience through his fitness routines, early morning workout videos, and motivational lifestyle content.

His upcoming visit has already sparked conversations among Kenyan creators, with many looking forward to seeing how he will experience the country.
Tileh’s matatu challenge now adds another possible moment to Ashton’s Kenya visit, as fans wait to see whether the fitness influencer will respond to the invitation. For now, Tileh has made it clear that if Ashton accepts the challenge, he may have to keep up with one of Kenya’s fastest and most colourful rides.
