TikToker and comedian Professor Aduol, popularly known as Oburu Junior, left President William Ruto laughing after delivering a spot-on impersonation of Siaya Senator Oburu Odinga during a breakfast meeting at State House, Nairobi.

The performance took place during a celebratory breakfast hosted on Monday, July 13, 2026, by Ruto for Migori Youth FC.

Mimicking Oburu’s distinctive voice, trademark hand gestures, facial expressions and signature speaking style, Aduol had the room roaring with laughter as senior government officials and invited guests watched on.

Throughout the performance, Ruto could be seen smiling broadly, repeatedly breaking into laughter and applauding as the comedian stayed in character from start to finish.

Room erupts in laughter

Taking to the podium in character, Aduol greeted those present before launching into a speech that closely mirrored Oburu Odinga’s unique style of speaking.

“Your Excellency, the President, the Governor of Migori County… Good morning. Mr President, I think I’m very much happy,” he began, immediately drawing laughter from the audience.

Remaining in character, Aduol jokingly declared that he had voted for Ruto before praising the President’s support for young people.

“I voted for you, and it is the truth. I like the energy that you are using to support these young people,” he said, triggering another burst of laughter from Ruto and the guests.

The comedian then humorously appealed to the President to complete a library at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University in Bondo, saying it had remained unfinished for years.

’50 terms’ Joke

As he wrapped up his performance, Aduol referenced the viral “Wantam” political slogan with his own humorous twist.

After asking Ruto to complete the university library, he jokingly said, “We are saying 50 terms! We are saying 50 terms!”

The playful remark sparked even louder laughter inside the room, with Ruto seen laughing heartily and clapping along as guests joined in the moment.

TikTok success

Professor Aduol, whose real name is Bronik Odhiambo, rose to prominence through TikTok, where his Oburu Odinga impersonations have attracted millions of views.

His ability to replicate the veteran politician’s voice, cadence, pauses, facial expressions and trademark hand gestures has earned him a loyal online following, with many Kenyans praising the accuracy of his performances.
