Sammyboy speaks on unusual experience with potential buyers of his Ksh9.9M Range Rover

In an Instagram Story shared on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, Sammyboy questioned the behaviour of people who travel to see the luxury vehicle, only to leave after taking selfies, recording videos and requesting test drives.
His remarks shed light on some of the challenges sellers of expensive vehicles can face when dealing with prospective buyers, particularly when it is difficult to distinguish serious customers from people who are simply curious about the car.
Sammyboy questions potential buyers
Sammyboy said he was frustrated by people who make the effort to come and view the vehicle despite allegedly not having the money needed to purchase it.
He wrote: “So I’m frustrated in depth coz tell me why niggas will take a loong shot to come all the way claiming to view the car I’m selling knowing better they have no damn coin in there pocket to purchase the car.”
The content creator went on to describe some of the explanations he receives from visitors when discussions about payment begin.
According to him, some people mention issues involving banks, cryptocurrency wallets and the availability of cash before eventually failing to proceed with the purchase.
Sammyboy appeared particularly frustrated by what happens after some visitors have viewed the Range Rover.
He claimed that rather than making serious offers, some people end up taking selfies and videos before leaving.
“Then they end up taking selfies and videos and leave… bruh.. such behaviours lowers your dignity vibaya sana,” he stated.
His comments suggest that he views such visits as more than just harmless window-shopping, especially when the vehicle is being offered for millions of shillings.
Selfies, videos and test drives
Sammyboy also questioned whether such behaviour is considered normal among car dealers.
“Car dealers is this normal?” he asked, before highlighting another situation that appears to frustrate him — people requesting to take the vehicle on a road trip under the explanation that they are testing it.
He wrote about visitors “mwingine alinipileka road trip ati we testing the car,” accompanied by frustrated emojis.
The post has sparked an interesting lifestyle conversation around car-buying etiquette, with Sammyboy highlighting the difference between genuinely inspecting a vehicle before purchase and simply wanting to experience a luxury car without having the means to buy it.
