Rayvanny surprises Zuchu with 8 flower bouquets and money after birth of baby girl
By Steve Ireri, August 3, 2026Tanzanian singer Rayvanny has paid a visit to fellow musician Zuchu in hospital, arriving with a huge haul of gifts as she continues to recover following the birth of her baby girl with Bongo Flava superstar Diamond Platnumz.
In an Instagram video shared on the night of Sunday, August 2, 2026, Rayvanny is seen arriving at the hospital, carrying eight large flower bouquets along with other gifts for the new mother and her newborn daughter.
With both hands occupied by the gifts, the singer appeared to struggle to open the ward door before eventually making his way inside, where Diamond was already with Zuchu.
Rayvanny was warmly welcomed by the couple, with Zuchu seen resting in her hospital bed while a nurse held the couple’s newborn daughter.
The singer then joked about Diamond’s recent comments regarding flowers, revealing that despite the Bongo Flava star’s playful request for relatives to stop bringing flowers and instead gift money, he had decided to bring both.
“Are you in here? Haha, I saw Diamond saying you do not want flower gifts. Haha. I have brought flowers but also money,” Rayvanny said.
He explained that the eight flower bouquets he had carried were deliberately chosen to mark the month in which the baby was born.
“So these are eight flower bouquets because the baby was born in the eighth month,” he added.
Rayvanny also pointed out a personal coincidence surrounding the newborn’s arrival, noting that the baby had been born in the same month as him.
“And it is a coincidence that the baby was also born in the same month as me, so we share birthday months,” he said.
The singer went on to congratulate Diamond and Zuchu, expressing his happiness over the arrival of their daughter and celebrating the new addition to their family.
“And I want to say congratulations for real. We are so happy,” Rayvanny said.
He also commented on the baby’s appearance, saying that she appeared to have inherited features from both her famous parents.
“I see the baby also looks like you guys. We are so happy,” he added.
Rayvanny’s visit came as Diamond and Zuchu continued to receive congratulatory messages and visits from relatives, friends and fellow celebrities following the arrival of their daughter.

The arrival of the baby marked a major milestone for Diamond and Zuchu, who shared the news with their fans on Sunday, August 2, 2026.
“Welcome to the world, our precious little angel. You are already loved more than words can ever say!” Diamond wrote.
Zuchu also shared the news with her followers in a brief but emotional message, describing her newborn daughter as her “whole world”.
The birth came shortly after the couple celebrated the impending arrival of their daughter with a lavish baby shower attended by family members and close friends.
During the celebration, Diamond described the money as a small token of appreciation for Zuchu for carrying their child, saying that no amount of money could match the significance of what she had done.
