TikToker and influencer Priscilla Wa Imani has shared an emotional update after the matatu she was travelling in from Nakuru was involved in a grisly road accident.

Speaking in an emotional TikTok video on Sunday, August 2, 2026, Priscilla reassured her followers that she was safe and had not suffered any injuries following the crash that occurred at Maili Kumi in Nakuru County.

The TikToker said she had travelled from Bungoma and had arrived safely in Nakuru before boarding another vehicle, which was later involved in the accident.

“Hi, guys. From Bungoma, I have come so far, and the journey was smooth, and I arrived here in Nakuru safe and sound. From Nakuru, I took another car, and it is the one you are seeing here that has crashed,” Priscilla said.

She explained that the accident occurred while they were in the Maili Kumi area, where she and other passengers found themselves involved in the road crash.

“While we were there in Nakuru, at Maili Kumi, that is where we were involved in an accident. I was aboard this car you are seeing here, but I can confirm as of now that I am doing well and I am healthy and not injured,” she added.

The influencer expressed gratitude to God for protecting her from what she described as an accident that could have ended much worse.

“I thank God. This accident could have been very bad,” she said.

Priscilla also revealed that she immediately went live on her social media pages following the accident as she sought to update her followers and receive assistance.

“Immediately after we were involved in this accident, I went live on my pages and some people came to rescue us. We have talked, and some people have even paid taxis for me,” she explained.

However, Priscilla said their ordeal was not immediately over after the accident, revealing that the taxi driver who arrived to pick her up later declined to continue with the journey.

She said the driver claimed that he had not known she was travelling towards the Nyahururu direction, forcing her and others to remain at the scene as they waited for another vehicle.

“But the taxi driver, after arriving, declined the ride because he said he did not know that I was heading towards the Nyahururu side. So, we have stayed here at the scene until another car came to pick us up,” she said.

The TikToker also revealed that she had received numerous calls from people in Bungoma who were concerned about her safety after learning about the accident.

“All the people in Bungoma are calling me, wanting to know how I am doing, and I can say I am safe, guys,” she said.
