Pastor Kanyari rants after Manzi wa Mombasa skips church despite sending her transport money
By Steve Ireri, September 28, 2026Salvation Healing Ministry founder Pastor Victor Kanyari has gone on a public rant after Manzi wa Mombasa failed to turn up for Sunday church service despite receiving transport money from the preacher to facilitate her journey.
Speaking during a church service on Sunday, September 27, 2026, the televangelist revealed that the social media personality had contacted him the previous day seeking assistance after claiming she could not make it to church because she lacked transport money.
The preacher said he responded to her request by sending her the fare, apparently expecting that the money would enable her to attend the service as she had promised.
However, when the service got underway and Manzi wa Mombasa was nowhere to be seen, Kanyari was left wondering what had happened to the money he had sent her.
The preacher openly questioned whether she had already spent the fare, while at the same time leaving room for the possibility that she could still arrive at church later than expected.
“Yesterday she called me and said she wanted to come to church but was dismayed because she did not have transport money. And I did send her. But now I wonder where she is because she is not here. She has spent the fare money which I sent her. But also, you may see her coming in later on,” he said.
Kanyari’s remarks appeared to capture his frustration at having gone out of his way to help Manzi wa Mombasa get to church, only for her to remain absent when the service was already in progress.
The preacher also used the moment to revisit the troubled history between himself and the social media personality, recalling that he had previously been angered by some of the content she shared online.
Kanyari said Manzi wa Mombasa had at some point been posting what he considered inappropriate videos, a development that led him to take the drastic step of kicking her out of his church.
“She had been online doing some bad videos, and that is why I had at some point gotten mad and kicked her out of church,” Kanyari said.
