Oketch Salah enjoys New York evening with Ida Odinga and family

Salah said the day included a walk around Downtown New York, a visit to Hudson Yards and dinner with Ida.
He said he was accompanied during the outing by his first-born son Abdinoor and his third-born daughter Noora. Ida was also joined by her granddaughter Saphie and her personal assistant Shirley, as they spent the evening together in New York City.
“Yesterday was a beautiful walk-around day for us in Downtown New York. We visited one of the city’s finest shopping destinations, Hudson Yards, before ending the day with a wonderful dinner with Min Piny Nyamera from Migori and Mama Ida Odinga,” Oketch Salah said in a post on X on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.
Salah described the evening as a chance for the group to spend time together while enjoying their stay in the United States. He said the outing brought together members of their families and friends for an evening that included conversations and dinner.
Oketch shares New York family moment
Salah said his children were part of the outing, accompanying him around the city. Ida’s granddaughter Saphie and her personal assistant Shirley also joined the group during the evening.
“I was accompanied by my first-born son Abdinoor, my third-born daughter Noora, Mama Ida’s granddaughter Saphie and Shirley, Mama’s PA,” Oketch Salah said.
The New York outing comes days after Salah shared another family moment while attending a football match in England. On Saturday, September 19, 2026, he attended the Brighton versus Arsenal game at the Amex Stadium with his first-born son and third-born daughter.
Salah shared the moment during the second half of the match, showing where he was seated behind the Brighton goalkeeper. He said he was enjoying the live action at the stadium alongside his children.
“At the Amex Stadium! Second half — look right behind the Brighton goalkeeper, and you’ll spot me with my first-born son and third-born daughter, enjoying the action LIVE! Beautiful family moments and a great football atmosphere,” Oketch Salah said.
The businessman has now shared another moment involving his family while in New York. He said the latest outing included a visit to Hudson Yards before the group later sat down for dinner.
