My size is my asset: Inspekta Mwala says being short has opened doors for him

Speaking during an interview on Monday, June 29, 2026, the celebrated actor reflected on his journey, explaining that his physical appearance has earned him respect and favour in places he visits.
According to Mwala, he has embraced who he is and believes everything about him was planned by God.
My size has worked in my favour
The actor said he often receives special treatment whenever he visits offices or public places, adding that people are always willing to let him be served first.
Rather than wishing he were taller, Mwala said he believes his height has contributed positively to both his personal and professional life. “Maybe if I were tall, I would have lost a lot of things. The respect I receive in Kenya is unexplainable. There is no office where I have to stand at the door waiting. When I arrive, fellow Kenyans allow me to go in and receive service first,” he said.
He added that even senior officials often give him priority whenever he seeks assistance. “Even the boss allows me to be served first. Mine is simply a favour from the Lord. That is why He made me this size, and I have accepted the way I am. What I always say is, ‘My size is my asset.’ Maybe if I were tall, I would be losing many things,” he stated.
