Kuwachana sio uadui! Nicah revisits Ofweneke’s remarks on why their marriage ended

Nicah the Queen has ignited an online conversation about co-parenting and handling past heartbreaks after openly revisiting her former marriage to popular comedian and corporate MC Dr. Ofweneke.
Taking to her official Instagram account on Thursday, July 9, 2026, the vocal singer surprised fans by uploading a throwback media clip of her ex-husband candidly opening up about the dissolution of their relationship.
The original footage stemmed from an expansive tell-all interview Dr. Ofweneke granted during an appearance on Oga Obinna’s popular YouTube digital show (Obinna TV) on August 31, 2023.
At the time, the lanky television host detailed the private, deeply personal reasons behind their split – explaining that while the affection between them was massive, the fundamental foundation of their marriage was unsustainable.
Reacting to her ex-husband’s televised reflections years later, Nicah took to her social media layout to champion a peaceful perspective on split relationships, writing a lighthearted caption to emphasize her point.
“Kuwachana sio uadui!! Ama namna gani!? Mimi huwa mpoa guys!” Nicah declared to her thousands of digital followers.
(Translation: “Separation is not enmity!! Or what do you think!? I am always a good person, guys!”)

In the shared video clip, the comedian painted a picture of a remarkably calm and mature ending to what had otherwise been a highly publicised and closely watched union.
He admitted that while he carried profound love for the singer, he eventually realized he had completely lost his own identity in trying to maintain the relationship.
“I love Nicah so much that I forgot myself. But the day I re-discovered myself, I the day I told her ‘mama it has been a good stretch’. We were actually holding hands watching, hio time Netflix imetokea. We were in the house, my kids were there, my bro, my sister were there,” Dr. Ofweneke shared in the interview clip.
The media personality further elaborated that their individual qualities were never the issue, but rather their long-term compatibility and differing life paths.
“Nicah was perfect, and I was perfect. But we were not just perfect for each other, we were not on the same path in life. And it is very important for guys to realise that you know what you can be perfect but you are not perfect for somebody. And if you look at it from a spiritual perspective, not every marriage is a God idea,” he stated.
By reposting the intimate memory, Nicah the Queen has shown her followers that she views the past with grace.
Her public lightheartedness proves that despite the initial sting of a breakup, moving forward without bitterness is entirely possible.
