Kenyan creator Duty Boy Stylish pens heartfelt message to MrBeast after iPhone 17 Pro Max gift

Kenyan content creator Geoffrey Mwamburi, popularly known as Duty Boy Stylish, has penned a heartfelt message to American YouTuber MrBeast after receiving a brand-new iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Duty Boy took to Instagram on Sunday, September 20, 2026, to thank MrBeast and his team, calling the opportunity meaningful and thanking them for letting him be part of the experience.
The content creator shared the message alongside a photo highlighting his interaction with the YouTube personalities.
In his post, Duty Boy said he would remain grateful to MrBeast and everyone involved in the opportunity.
“2 YouTubers 🎥 Forever grateful to @mrbeast and the entire team for allowing me to be part of something so meaningful. ❤️ Thank you for making kindness go viral and allowing me to be part of the team. 🇰🇪🇬🇭,” he wrote.

The message came shortly after MrBeast, and content creator Samuel Weidenhofer surprised Duty Boy with a new iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Weidenhofer said the gesture was meant to support Duty Boy after his phone was stolen during an attack while he was filming content.
Duty Boy’s phone stolen during attack
Duty Boy had been filming a challenge in which he attempted to survive on one Kenyan shilling when he and his camera operator ended up on the wrong street and were attacked.
The incident left both of them injured and resulted in several belongings being taken, including Duty Boy’s iPhone 15.

Following the incident, Duty Boy continued creating content using an iPhone 11 before receiving the new device.
The new iPhone 17 Pro Max therefore came as a surprise to the Kenyan creator, who had previously spoken about his desire to grow his content creation career.
MrBeast steps in
The gift was shared publicly by Weidenhofer, who said he and MrBeast did not want the theft to stop Duty Boy from pursuing his dream.
According to Weidenhofer, Duty Boy’s story of growing up in the slums and his goal of improving his mother’s life through content creation motivated the gesture.
Duty Boy has built a following through videos documenting his life and experiences in Kibera, as well as content involving acts of kindness and real-life challenges.
The creator started making content in 2025 and has continued to document his journey while pursuing his ambitions through social media.
