Kenya Airways unveils Yemi Alade as brand ambassador

The collaboration, which the airline described as a strategic partnership, is aimed at expanding its footprint in the region through meaningful collaborations that connect it with new audiences.
The partnership was officially unveiled on Monday, July 20, 2026, by Kenya Airways’ Chief Commercial and Customer Officer, Julius Thairu, who said the collaboration reflects the airline’s commitment to expanding its footprint in the region through meaningful partnerships that connect it with new audiences.
“We’re excited to announce a strategic partnership with global superstar @yemialadee, reinforcing our commitment to strengthening our presence in West Africa through meaningful collaborations that connect us with new audiences,” Kenya Airways announced.
According to Kenya Airways, the partnership comes as the airline continues to expand its operations in West Africa. It recently increased its flight frequency between Nairobi and Lagos by deploying the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which now operates six times a week.
“The collaboration comes as we continue expanding our presence in West Africa, having recently increased capacity to and from Lagos with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, now operating six times a week,” Kenya Airways added.
The airline said the expanded Lagos schedule is expected to improve connectivity between East and West Africa by providing more travel options for business and leisure passengers.
Additionally, Kenya Airways added that partnering with the award-winning singer is expected to help it reach new audiences in West Africa while supporting its efforts to grow its presence in the region.
