Kanyari speaks on Marion Naipei pregnancy joke, says they have no relationship
By Paulette Mboga, September 21, 2026Salvation Healing Ministry founder Pastor Victor Kanyari has denied being in a relationship with Marion Naipei after she joked that she was pregnant with his child.
Kanyari said Marion made the joke at one point, which prompted him to ask why she was talking about pregnancy. He explained that the two are not in a relationship and said he is not currently dating.
“Kuna siku Marion mwenyewe ame joke eti niko na mimba ya Kanyari, nikamwambia wewe Marion kwani kichwa yako imeruka? Umeanza kuongea mambo ya mimba tena?” Kanyari said while on radio on Monday, September 21, 2026.
Kanyari said he does not have a relationship with Marion and rejected any suggestion that the pregnancy joke reflected a romantic connection between them. He explained that he is not married and is also not dating at the moment.
“We don’t have any relationship with Marion,” Kanyari said.

Kanyari also made claims about Marion’s relationships with men. He said she has what he described as a weakness for men and claimed that she is attracted to men and can choose them at random.
“Na Marion ako na weakness ya wanaume. Na si kupenda kwake. Anapenda wanaume sana na atachukua mwanaume yoyote at random, ako hivyo,” Kanyari said.
He further claimed that Marion had previously been forced to leave the place where she was living. Kanyari linked the situation to the men he said she had brought there, adding that it did not matter whether they had money or not.
“Hata mahali alikuwa anaishi, alifukuzwa kwanza, kwa sababu ameleta huyu, ameleta huyu, either ako na pesa ama hana pesa, hiyo ndio maisha yake,” Kanyari said.
Kanyari’s comments came as he addressed the pregnancy joke and his relationship with Marion. He maintained that there is no romantic relationship between them and also spoke about his current dating status.
The pastor said he is not married and is not dating at the moment. However, he added that he believes the time will come when he will enter a relationship.
