Kaluma Boy devastated after thieves strike his home for second time

TikToker Vincent Kaluma, popularly known as Kaluma Boy, has been left heartbroken after thieves broke into his house and stole his television set worth Ksh60,000, months after he suffered a similar robbery.
Speaking in a TikTok video on Thursday, July 30, 2026, Kaluma Boy said he had gone to a friend’s place after returning from a police station, only to discover that his house had been broken into and his television stolen while he was away.
Kaluma Boy said he had gone out of his way to support Risper’s family before returning home, only to find that his own house had been targeted by thieves.
“I am from the police station, and I went to Bensquare Patrol Base. Yesterday, I had gone to the girl’s home, Risper, and we were trying to raise money for her cancer treatment,” he said.
He said the television that was stolen was worth Ksh60,000, expressing his disappointment at what he described as a painful contrast between his efforts to do good for others and the misfortune that had befallen him at home.
The TikToker lamented that while he had been away trying to help someone battling cancer, someone else had taken advantage of his absence to steal from him.
“I have come back and found that someone came inside and stole the TV. That TV is worth Ksh60,000,” he added.
He also revealed that he had already reported the incident to the police and recorded a statement, although he remained uncertain about whether the stolen television would eventually be recovered.
Kaluma Boy said he could only hope that the authorities would manage to trace the television and identify those responsible for the robbery.
“You go outside to do good, only to return and find that people are doing bad things to you. It is so sad. That TV is gone. Now I have recorded a statement with the police. I am not sure if we will find that TV,” he added.

Kaluma Boy previously addressed his followers after returning home from an upcountry Christmas trip to discover that his house had been broken into.
He said several valuable items had been stolen during the break-in, including his clothes, blankets, shoes and other personal belongings.
“I had travelled upcountry for Christmas, and I had just come back. It is now around 9pm, and I found that my house had been broken into. I do not know who was behind it, but valuable items were stolen,” he said then.
Kaluma Boy explained that the thieves appeared to have taken almost everything of value they could find in the house, leaving him distressed by the extent of the loss.
He said the kitchen had also been targeted, with the thieves allegedly making away with cooking utensils and household items, including sufurias.
The TikToker expressed his disappointment that even basic household belongings had not been spared during the robbery.
“I was robbed of clothes, blankets, shoes and many other items, which is very disrespectful. Even the kitchen was not spared. Cooking wares, including sufurias, were stolen. That is so bad, jameni,” he added.
