Jimal Rohosafi urges Ruto to stop public servants from using government vehicles on weekends

He said the restriction should run from Friday evening until Monday. According to him, the move would help reduce misuse of government vehicles.
“President Ruto should consider not allowing public servants to use Government vehicles from Friday evening till Monday. A lot of these cars are misused on the weekend,” Jimal Rohosafi said on Friday, July 24, 2026.
Jimal has often shared his opinions on public matters through his social media platforms. He is known for speaking openly about issues that he believes deserve attention. His latest remarks focused on how government vehicles are used during weekends.
He explained that limiting access to the vehicles during weekends could help address misuse. His suggestion was directed at the President as a possible measure to improve accountability. He did not provide further details beyond his proposal.
