Ibraah calls out Harmonize for blocking him and reviving Konde Gang drama

By , June 14, 2026

Tanzanian singer Ibrahim Abdallah Nampunga, popularly known as Ibraah, has called out his former boss Harmonize, accusing him of continuing to involve his name in publicity stunts even after their highly publicised fallout at Konde Gang.

In an Instagram story on Sunday, June 14, 2026, Ibraah, who was previously signed under Harmonize’s Konde Music Worldwide label before their dramatic split, claimed that tensions between them have remained unresolved since his exit from the label.

He took aim at Harmonize and questioned why his name continues to feature in online conversations and alleged publicity tactics despite their separation.

“My man Konde Boy, in your publicity stunts please avoid involving my name. My advice to you is just focus on your work,” Ibraah wrote.

He further claimed that Harmonize had blocked him, but still went ahead to mention him in various discussions and online narratives, something he said he does not understand.

Ibraah urged the singer to stop involving him in what he described as publicity stunts and instead focus on his own music career and personal growth.

The “Sumu” hitmaker noted that he has moved on from Konde Gang and expects his name to be left out of any ongoing disputes or online drama linked to the label.

“Quit the stunts and all the talking. You have blocked me, but I wonder if that is still not enough. Stop dragging my name into your issues and focus on your music,” he added.

Did Diamond enable Ibraah to quit Konde Gang?

Separately, the ‘Kuuh’ hitmaker shed light on the role Diamond Platnumz played in his decision to exit Konde Gang, addressing long-standing claims that the Bongo Flava superstar influenced his departure.

Speaking during an interview on Saturday, April 11, 2026, Ibraah clarified that while there have been widespread reports suggesting Diamond pushed him to leave the label and was working to weaken Konde Gang, his experience with the celebrated artiste was different.

Ibraah explained that when it comes to public perception, fans often speak on behalf of Diamond, sometimes creating narratives that may not reflect the reality of the situation. However, he noted that his own view of Diamond is shaped by personal experience, describing him as someone who stepped in to help him during a difficult period in his career.

“When we talk about fans, even Diamond’s fans sometimes speak on his behalf. But when I talk about Diamond, I speak of him as someone who helped me during a time when things were hard for me until things got better,” he said.

He revealed that at the time he was struggling within the label, Diamond offered support that played a key role in helping him transition into an independent artiste.

According to Ibraah, the assistance he received enabled him to pursue his music freely and benefit directly from his earnings without being tied to a record label.

“The great thing about the help Diamond gave me is that now, as a solo artiste not under any label, whatever small earnings I get from music are mine. So I can say he helped me where he could, because he is big in the industry and he saw I was facing challenges in that label, which could have stopped me from achieving my dreams,” he said.
