Guardian Angel promises tenants free vegetables as he enters rental business
By William Muthama, September 13, 2026Gospel musician Guardian Angel has revealed plans to give tenants living in his rental houses free vegetables from his farm.
In an Instagram video shared on Sunday, September 13, 2026, the musician said there was nothing better than having a landlord who motivates tenants to work and pay their rent.
“Unajua hakuna kitu mzuri kama landlord wako kukupatia nguvu ya kumtafuta,” he said, before explaining how his tenants would benefit from the farm.
Guardian Angel said tenants would have access to vegetables including spinach, managu, sukuma wiki and tomatoes at no cost.
Tenants eat free
The musician stated that while his tenants would still have to pay rent, they would not have to spend money buying vegetables.
“Hizo nitakuwa nawapatia za bure sasa, zile roho yangu imetulia,” he said.
He explained that providing free food from his farm would help tenants save money while giving them the energy to work and make their rent payments.
“Kuishi ndio hawiishi bure. Lakini kukula unakula bure upate nguvu ya kufanya kazi, unitefute,” Guardian Angel joked.
His comments come as he continues with his rental housing project, which includes 15 units.
Guardian Angel humorously described the property as an affordable place for prospective tenants, comparing it to London while promising an easier living experience.
“Kwa hiyo, kama utakuwa tenant wangu wewe jua hapo ni London. Hapo ni mteremko. Hapo ni affordable,” he said.
He also welcomed the first tenants to occupy the houses, stating that they would have little reason to leave because of the free vegetables.
“Unahama kuacha kula bure unaanza wapi?” he joked.
Rental project
Guardian Angel’s comments come a few days after he announced that he had ventured into the rental business.
The singer said he is putting up 15 mabati houses, with each unit expected to rent for Ksh5,000 per month.
He has shared glimpses of the construction work online as he expands his investments beyond music.
