GK Nyambura responds to critics, says no one can make her doubt her natural hair

She explained that she occasionally comes across comments from people who project their own insecurities onto her. However, GK said those remarks do not affect her because she already has a strong opinion about her own hair.
“Now and then I find random comments of people projecting their own hair insecurities on me. Unfortunately, this has never worked on me because I think my hair is absolutely stunning and no opinion of me is higher than mine,” GK Nyambura said on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.
She said confidence starts with how a person sees themselves rather than what other people say. According to GK, she has always believed in her appearance and does not rely on outside approval to feel good about herself.
Standing by her confidence
“What I say goes accordingly. Stay blessed tho,” GK Nyambura said.
GK maintained that her opinion of herself comes first. She made it clear that she is comfortable wearing her natural hair and has no intention of changing it because of criticism from others.
“I’ve been wearing my hair out my whole life and the compliments I got in high school zilinipea kiburi,” GK Nyambura said.
She explained that she has proudly worn her natural hair for many years. GK added that the compliments she received while in high school gave her confidence, and that confidence has remained with her over the years.
Her remarks highlighted the importance of self-belief and embracing natural beauty. She suggested that confidence grows when people appreciate themselves instead of allowing negative opinions to shape how they see themselves.
