Content creator Georgina Njenga has reflected on her personal healing journey, saying she has learnt to manage anger, walk away from situations that disturb her peace and release relationships that no longer serve her.

In a heartfelt Instagram post shared on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, Georgina looked back at the younger version of herself and expressed pride in the growth she has made through difficult seasons.

She said life may not have unfolded exactly as she once imagined, but she has received many of the blessings she prayed for and learnt important lessons along the way.

“I’m so proud of young Georgina. She might not have achieved as expected, but she definitely has gotten blessings she prayed for so hard,” she wrote.

She said learning how to remain quiet when provoked and stepping away from unnecessary connections has been part of her growth.

Letting go was not easy

Georgina explained that moving into a new chapter of her life came with painful decisions, especially when she had to leave behind certain bonds and form new ones.

However, she said the process was necessary for her healing and helped her appreciate the people who have remained genuine in her life.

“Moving to my next chapter was the hardest because I had to let go of certain bonds and start new ones, but it was also very important in my healing and also maintaining the strong ones,” she said.

The influencer also spoke about the pain she experienced from loss, heartbreak and negative comments on social media.

She noted that some of the difficult moments happened during a period when she was making headlines and becoming a mother, making it harder for her to face the emotions she had pushed aside.

Georgina said therapy helped her understand that her tears and feelings were valid. “If you told this girl that the hurt she was busy ignoring from loss, heartbreak and social media hurt would slowly break her, she would have sworn she did not care,” she wrote.

Mental health matters

The content creator said she has learnt to love parts of herself that she once struggled to accept.

She also shared that stressful nights and constant overthinking affected her mental health, adding that people should not ignore the importance of seeking help.

“Mental health is actually very important,” Georgina said, explaining that healing helped her see people and situations differently.

She further said she no longer allows public opinion to control how she views herself. According to Georgina, she has become more careful about the people around her after learning that some individuals may quietly wish for another person’s downfall.

Her message encouraged people going through pain to give themselves another chance, build meaningful friendships and choose environments that support growth.

“My biggest prayer is that anyone who has received so much hurt after hurt finally gets to the healing stage,” she said.

Georgina concluded by saying every setback has taught her something and brought her closer to God. “Healing is actually learning,” she added. “The only option is choosing yourself.”
