Esther Musila: My husband is one of my best decisions in life
By Valerian Khakayi, June 29, 2026Social media sensation Esther Musila has once again professed her love for her husband, gospel singer Peter Omwaka, popularly known as Guardian Angel, describing him as one of the best decisions she has ever made.
In a heartfelt message shared on social media on Monday, June 29, 2026, Musila said she would still choose Guardian Angel even if she had the chance to be with anyone else in the world.
“My husband is one of my best decisions in life. If I could have anyone else in the world, it would still be him,” she wrote.

Musila and Guardian Angel have often used social media to celebrate one another, frequently sharing messages of appreciation and glimpses into their marriage. The couple has consistently maintained that their relationship is built on love, trust and mutual respect.
Her latest declaration comes as the couple continues to inspire supporters with their public displays of affection while also brushing off criticism from those who have questioned their relationship over the years.
Musila on fitness routine and love
Earlier, Musila dismissed claims that her fitness routine is aimed at keeping Guardian Angel happy. Responding to assumptions from some social media users, she clarified that her workouts are motivated by her desire to maintain good health and live a long, fulfilling life rather than to impress her husband.
“To those busybodies who think I work out to impress or keep up with the man I am married to, poleni sana!” she wrote on Friday, June 26, 2026.
She explained that her passion for fitness began long before the COVID-19 pandemic and long before the assumptions currently being made online.

According to her, she has no regrets about the years she has dedicated to taking care of her body and remains grateful for the consistency she has maintained over time.
“Fitness has been my lifestyle for years, and I am now thanking myself for the hard work I have put in and my body for never failing me after so many years of consistency,” she said.
“This was me before COVID struck in 2020 and because of the lockdown, there were no gyms open. Because some of us are fitness addicts, we improvised and had online classes to still maintain our fitness.”
Additionally, Musila added that part of the weight gain is a result of what she described as “TLC”, while hormonal changes that naturally occur as women grow older have also contributed.
“The pounds we have gained are a result of TLC, and for us women, when you get to a certain age, your hormones are all over the place,” she said.
