DJ Xclusive opens up about recurring nightmares after his father’s death

He shared that one particular dream has continued to come back, leaving him thinking about a second family that exists only in his dreams.
DJ Xclusive explained that the dream has repeated itself several times since his father’s passing. He said the dream involves his father having another family with six sons, all of whom are in the army.
“I have been having nightmares since my dad passed away. Na nightmare moja imekua ikirudi ni ya second family. Usicheke because nimekua na nightmares eti ako na family ingine,” DJ Xclusive said on Friday, July 10, 2026.
He continued describing the recurring dream and explained that it always follows the same pattern. According to him, the family in the dream has six sons, while his own family has four boys.
“Na kwa hiyo family, ako na vijana sita. Wote ni wa army. I swear, listen, nimekua na nightmares; ako na family nyingine, and it is a recurrent dream. Sisi ni wanne, all boys, lakini hii side ingine wako sita, na ni wa army,” DJ Xclusive said.
Mourning the loss of his father
DJ Xclusive recently announced the death of his father after he had spent a week in the Intensive Care Unit at Nairobi West Hospital. He shared the news in an Instagram post, saying his father died on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at 10:40 a.m.
In his earlier statement, the radio presenter explained that doctors had done everything they could to save his father. However, he said the efforts were unsuccessful, and his family suffered a painful loss.
“Good afternoon, my Dad has been ill for the last one week at Nairobi West Hospital, admitted to ICU. Despite all the effort by the doctors to treat him, unfortunately, he passed away this morning at 10:40 am,” DJ Xclusive said.
The presenter did not disclose the illness his father had been battling before his death. He, however, thanked the medical team at Nairobi West Hospital for the care they gave his father during his final days.
DJ Xclusive’s latest remarks about his recurring nightmares come as he continues to mourn his father’s passing. He shared the dreams as part of his personal experience following the loss, describing one particular dream that has continued to return since his father’s death.
